The fishing in Vega Lake is excellent and the town of Collbran is only 15 miles away, where there is a restaurant and grocery.	Top Cabin
The Plateau Creek area where you will hunt is high game country, the area is easy to hunt with good cover with numerous groves of Aspen and Spruce as well as high mountain meadows and streams. The elevation runs from 8,000 to 10,000 feet. We have a resident elk herd, numerous mule deer and ever increasing numbers of black bear. A true Colorado hunting experience in excellent big game country.

Base Camp

Base camp can accommodate 8 hunters. Enjoy full kitchen, propane heat, hot shower and lounge area in Base Camp.

Drop camps are unguided. A remote cabin equipped with propane heating stove, lights and cook stove. Bunk beds, cooking equipment, tables/chairs and water, no plumbing (out-house). Transportation to Drop Cabins by 4 wheel drive.
You will be assisted by a professional guide who will check your camp each day.
For archery and black powder seasons, game will be packed out for hunters to base camp. All rifle hunts include the packing of game.
